Job Details

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 poundsWhile performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high and/or precarious places, fumes, airborne particles, outside weather conditions, extreme cold and extreme heat, and confined spacesThis may require climbing stairs/ladders, bending, kneeling, crawling, and/or stoopingReasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsLearn and apply all safety, operational, and environmental policies; continuously and proactively learn new skills and processesOperate several types of industrial vehicles to include forklifts, skid steers, scissor lifts, boom sifts and a front-end loaderComplete operator level equipment monitoring, cleaning and maintenanceRead and interpret blueprints and manualsPerform basic computer functions including the writing of work orders and cross-referencing stockroom information and work effectively with web-based computer programsReceive and apply instruction from management, supervisors and peersWorks rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, and overtime as requiredDemonstrate progress and increasing proficiency in job tasks using written instructions and on-the-job trainingThe employee must be able to position self to operate, inspect, maintain, and repair all machinery and equipment on plant floor
