Chicopee, FT, 24/7, All Three shifts open, 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm -7am, Must commit to one shift every other weekend, Our 24/7's are a TEAM Effort, Must be a team player to support this Elder couple, Must commit to 40 hours a week, Possible Overtime in the beginning,
Mrs. is the Main caregiver for her husband, who has dementia. She Is undergoing chemo treatments and needs a Trusted Homecare agency to take the reins for a little bit, assistance with personal care, showers, dressing, mobility, walker, meal prep & Med reminders, Companionship, Mr. is in bed most of the time, He's very good at following directions and cueing. We need to provide this respite so that Mrs. can get through her cancer treatments. This may eventually lead to a two person care situation, which is a higher pay.
Personal Care Attedndants & Home care Aides $15.50 per hour
Certified Nursing Assistant & Home Health Aides $16.00 per hour
Higher pay if this case becomes a two person care model.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
- Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
- Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor
- Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
- Engage patients in exercises or other activities
QUALIFICATIONS- At least one year elder care experience
- Driver's license & good driving record required
- Professional References & comply with background check policy.
