Job Description:
Seeking a surgical technologist to serve in the operating room at Essentia Health's Fargo Hospital on 32nd Avenue. The schedule is full-time days and holiday, weekend, and on-call rotations are required. A sign-on bonus of $5,000 is available for qualified candidates!Functions under the supervision of an RN in providing technical interventions in the Operating Room to patients of all ages. They are also responsible for tasks relating to instrumentation, equipment, prosthesis, and supplies. May perform other duties as assigned by the department.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
- Certified as a Surgical Technologist is required one year after hire.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required or ability to obtain within 1 month of hire.
- Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) with the ND BON upon hire.
