Employee will lead the implementation of this process with specific airfoils casting suppliers ensuring that there is cadence and proactive problem solving in the space. The goal for this role will be to ensure there is an understanding of current state and a plan to meet global requirements from this commodity as demand increases over a rolling 3-year window. The role has autonomy within the Castings Commodity to create and drive rhythms to serve readiness and requires high levels of evaluative judgment and operational acumen to achieve desired business outcomes.This role is based out of our Sourcing Headquarters in Evendale, OH.Open to remote opportunity in the specific states listed: IL, IN, KY, MI, OH, & TN.Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesPartner with the Central Readiness team to learn and implement the readiness process within the Castings CommodityDevelop relationships within the commodity, supplier(s), & part familyBuild models of airfoil casting capacity at various stages of the value chain to visualize the constraints in a quantitative wayBuild action plans and apply structured problem solving to alleviate the constraints in conjunction with the Supplier TeamEngage the commodity leadership team & major stakeholders in regular cadence around readiness and drive action plan execution with the Supplier Teams & the suppliers themselves to grow capacityCommunicate suppliers constraints to be incorporated in S&OP rhythms to respond to demand changesDevelop Key Performance Indicators (KPI) & standard work for readiness processes at end state within the commodityInterpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes or servicesUtilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making processMay lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Presents business or technical discipline solutions to leaders. Communicates complex messages and negotiates mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view.
