Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Develop and execute innovative procurement strategies designed to drive cost savings, improve service quality, and mitigate risk in the Technology category.
- Manage the end-to-end sourcing process including RFP, negotiation, contract execution, and supplier management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for procurement related matters.
- Evaluate supplier performance using data-driven methods and implement strategies to ensure continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their procurement needs and develop appropriate sourcing strategies.
- Stay abreast of market trends, changes in business practices in the assigned markets, and new or altered types of materials entering the market.
- Oversee the procurement of materials, ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards.
- Lead cost reduction and process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and effectiveness in the procurement process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or a related field, preferably within the retail industry.
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end procurement processes, including RFP, negotiation, contract execution, and supplier management.
- Strong understanding of the technology marketplace and trends.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to drive cost savings and improve terms.
- Proficient in using procurement software and tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and develop strategic procurement plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically about procurement challenges.
