Receives, storing of supplies, materials, and equipment. Receives and processes purchased goods, supplies, and equipment. Participates in the organization and maintenance of warehouse supplies, materials and equipment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Warehousing Receives, verifies, and inspects shipments of materials, equipment and supplies received in order to ensure compliance with purchase order specifications. Identifies and reports shortages, damages and other discrepancies. Unloads, checks, and shelves incoming materials, equipment and supplies. Receives merchandise and unloads trucks using forklift and/or hand truck. Lighter loads can be hand carried. Maintains up-to-date data on location and condition of fixtures and furniture, tagging items qualifying as fixed asset, and arranging for reuse or salvage. Enters incoming and outgoing inventory to a manual and/or computer-aided inventory accounting program. Keeps track of cycles and patterns of inventory usage.
