The University of Iowa Parking & Transportation department is seeking a Parking Maintenance Worker I. This position will assist in the installation, maintenance, and minor repair of parking equipment and facilities and constructs and installs traffic, parking, and related signs. This position is performed fully on campus. Duties to Include: Assists in the installation, maintenance, and minor repair of parking equipment, which includes proper calibration of gate arms, reinstalling REPM equipment, testing hardware in general to trouble shoot. Constructs and installs traffic, parking, and related signs. Maintain safety, readiness and cleanliness of parking ramps, surface lots, and pedestrian areas through the operations of industrial sweepers, power washers, snowplows, sanders, snow blowers, air brooms, skid loaders, paint machine, trucks and hand work.
