**DESCRIPTION**

As a member of the supply chain team, you will have the opportunity to make an impact across many functional areas of the company. A Global Sourcing Manager is responsible to develop and implement strategic initiatives and sourcing strategies to reduce spend/improve enterprise value. The Sourcing Manager has full ownership of the range of a given category. This role is responsible for the product quality, costing, supplier management, value initiatives, and strategic objectives of a specific category group.
**Position Overview:**
As a key member of our supply chain operations - you will be instrumental in providing vital information regarding inventory management and supporting internal and external customers to ensure the order fulfillment process is highly efficient and effective in moving sales and overall business objectives forward.
**Responsibilities:**
* Inventory management and product flow for assigned customers, regions, and product categories
* Writes orders weekly for their territory. The primary responsibility is to replenish for a single customer out of assigned production facilities; secondary responsibility is to provide analytics for these markets on an as-needed basis
* Participate in weekly scheduled calls and relay standardized communications to the field sales team, sales directors, and other levels of management. Communication ranges from order summaries to product quality issues and execution of strategic shipment strategies
* This position requires working in our custom ERP and Replenishment solution and can require input on system improvements and upgrades. This could include periodic meetings with the IT department
**Requirements:**
* Bachelors Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
* 0 - 3 years of related work experience preferred but not required
* Ability to work independently and in a group environment
* Advanced Excel skills are required. Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office Products
* Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment
* Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills a must
* Desire to grow professional skillset
* Must have open availability during peak season. Hours may vary and weekend flexibility is a must. Our replenishment demands are time-sensitive finalizing orders is the priority.
