Our client is a Fortune 250 global industrial manufacturer seeking an experienced Maintenance & EHS Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, and tools, as well as ensuring compliance with EHS regulations.
The Opportunity:
- Lead a team of maitenance professionals as a hands-on "player-coach"
- Maintain facility equipment and preventative maintenance programs. Satisfies ongoing documentation of testing on security and fire systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems.
- Oversee moderately complex planning, design, reconfiguration, construction, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities.
- Analyze interpret, and formulate policies and recommends changes to facilities management systems and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
- Ensure compliance with EHS regulations and company policies.
- Conduct safety inspections and report any hazards or risks.
- Coordinate energy conservation program and collect data to support improved conservation measures. Conducts studies to evaluate and determine the most efficient use of electrical power.
- Assists with budgets for building and grounds, utilities, and cleaning services.
What we are seeking:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or related discipline or or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5-7 years related experience including building and data center electrical work
- Journeyman certification or equivalent experience in a related field.
- EHS certification or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Leadership of a team of maintenance professionals
Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed.
