Wilson College of Business Professional Distinction Operations


Primary Function: Coordinates and oversees the Professional Readiness Program (PRP), a fundamental professional development program in the Wilson College of Business in support of the Office for Professional Distinction; manages, facilitates, and leads PRP workshops; conceptualizes, evaluates, and implements existing and new program content and structure based on the evolving business environment and student professional development needs; serves as a resource and support to additional session facilitators, presenters, peer mentors, and students; assesses, reports, and makes recommendations to improve program training and development outcomes; contracts, schedules, and oversees all trainers/presenters leading developmental workshops; hires, trains, and leads student staff, including Peer Mentors, Office Assistants, and/or other employees supporting the PRP; positively represents the PRP to the outward community; and builds professionally beneficial relationships for the program, students, and the Wilson College.

Qualifications: Bachelor s degree; at least one year of combined experience in employee professional development or training, talent development, project or program management, event planning, and/or program coordination; strong organizational skills; excellent communication skills; and ability to work collaboratively with a team required. Experience leading projects or teams preferred. Student experience will be considered.
