The U.S. headquarters of a global manufacturer is searching for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee the company's group of companies in the USA.
The CFO will report directly to the CEO of the U.S. headquarters and will provide executive-level leadership in managing and executing the U.S. holding company's overall financial operations, including strategic financial planning, risk management, financial reporting, and compliance.
The CFO will be responsible for financial reporting to the parent company overseas, act as a trusted partner to the Group's management, provide decision-making advice, strengthen internal control, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Additionally, the CFO will lead the implementation of global processes and documentation requirements to meet US GAAP and/or country-specific requirements.
The ideal candidate should have over 10 years of proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or in similar positions, with an understanding of Global Entities and/or Japanese Companies, particularly in the context of working in an international and intercultural environment. Experience in participating in and providing advice on financial due diligence for new M&A projects is desired.
Japanese language skills are a big plus, but not necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 10 years proven experience as CFO, Finance Director, or similar.
Excellent knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and other financial regulations.
In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and general management best practices.

Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
MSc/MA in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or CPA is preferred.
Experience with and understanding of Global Entities and/or Japanese Companies, as it relates to working in an international and intercultural environment.
