This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned finance professional who is looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic and growing organization. We're ideally looking for someone with manufacturing or construction accounting experience.
You will be responsible for the financial health of the company, overseeing the production of periodic financial reports, maintaining an adequate system of accounting records, and ensuring that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial principles, and the ability to communicate complex data in a clear and concise manner. Job DetailsResponsibilities:
1. Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
2. Develop and implement financial strategies, financial planning, budgeting, and profitability analyses.
3. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by researching existing and new legislation, consulting with outside advisors, and filing financial reports.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance role with a focus on financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling.
2. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA certification is preferred.
3. Proven experience as a Controller or similar role in the finance industry.
4. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
5. CPA is a strong advantage.
