Excellent MI Gastroenterology opportunity for Supplemental
coverage starting 10/7/24 or ASAP and ongoing.
Need up to 3 full-time Locums.
Need nights covered with on call and 15 days/mo. of IP consults.
Inpatient
Scheduled hours + Call
Shift: 7a-7a, 24 hr. shifts (including carrying the pager at night)
Schedule: 8-hr. on-site hospital coverage, 8a-4:30p
16 hrs. unrestricted call
Call Shifts needed:
Oct 7 7am to Oct 14 7am
Oct 21 7am to Oct 28 7am
Nov 4 7am to Nov 15 7am
Nov 25 7am to Dec 9 7am
Dec 16 7am to Jan 1 7am
PPS: 20-22; 5 follow-ups, 10-12 new pts., 2-4 procedures
Locum to supplement GI call coverage, IP consults, ED and
scheduled procedures.
Required procedures: Colonoscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound
(EUS)
Required types of upper GI Endoscopy: Diagnostic, Therapeutic
with Biopsy, with Foreign Body Removal
Call Back #: ave. returns to hospital while on call is 1 in 7 nights
worked
Locum will have APP support.
Group: 1 Physician
Trauma Level I Facility
On-site Lab and X-ray
Orientation prior to start is required.
EMR: EPIC
Expenses covered, weekly pay and Occurrence Form
Malpractice insurance provided.
