Job Description

Work in the Global Data Science team to discover insights from data to help drive business decisions. Solve business problems, investigate data, and build machine learning models. Build data pipelines and standardization processes, to develop models and to interface with business users to help them make sense of and believe the developed business models. Perform ETL development from numerous source systems to HDFS, Schema design, data structure selection, and implementation in HDFS. Report design and development in Power BI, as well as collaborate with business leaders and project managers to plan development and move prototypes to more advanced stages, up to and including production. Develop a deep understanding of data, propose and pursue novel data sets and analyses, identify trends, and expose new business opportunities. Participate in code, documentation, and workflow maintenance. Take part in infrastructure upkeep and maintenance and fulfill ad-hoc analyses and data requests as needed.

Minimum Requirements

Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field and 7 years of experience as a Data Scientist or 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Graduate Research Assistant, or related occupation. In lieu of a bachelor's degree and 7 years of experience as stated, employer will accept a master's or foreign equivalent degree in aforementioned fields and 4 years of experience as a Data Scientist or 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Graduate Research Assistant, or related occupation or a PhD or foreign equivalent degree in aforementioned fields and 1 year of experience as a Data Scientist or 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst, Graduate Research Assistant, or related occupation. Requires 2 years of experience working with numerical algorithms or machine learning using one or more of the following techniques: optimization, clustering, regression, classification techniques. Requires 1 year of experience: working in SQL; developing BI visualization tools and dashboards, including using Power BI; creating ETL pipelines including SQL and CTAS; working with Big Data technologies or MPP technologies; working in Data Science and Machine Learning and Deep Learning environments; developing computer programming and coding using Python and SQL; analyzing data and presenting findings to both business and technical senior management; and using markup languages including HTML, XML, Javascript and CSS.

Employee reports to office in Centennial, CO.

We are offering a salary of $136,885 to $150,574/year.
