Maintenance Technician
Electrical Maintenance Tech/Maintenance Mechanic
Maintenance mechanics are responsible for troubleshooting, repair, and inspection of production, quality, and facility industrial equipment, as well as timely and accurate recording of maintenance activities in required documentation. As delegated by the maintenance manager, mechanics will also be responsible for minor facility maintenance throughout the building.
Responsibilities
- Follow and comply with all safety, work, and employment policies & procedures
- Troubleshooting, preventative/corrective maintenance support for production lines
- Supporting changeovers and coordinating maintenance needs with die technicians
- Reporting safety incidents, accidents, or injuries to shift supervisor and maintenance manager
- Supporting facility maintenance
- Set up, start up, and operation of pultrusion machines
- Timely and thorough completion of daily, monthly, annual PM requirements
- Equipment fabrication; metal fabrication, MIG welding
- Assist production supervisor/bay leads with production needs relating to maintenance
- Maintain clean and orderly maintenance shop, tools storage, and parts storage
- Accurate and timely recording of all completed maintenance tasks in required documentation
Requirements
- 3-5 years previous maintenance mechanic experience
- Experience operating mill and lathe a plus
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair:
- 480, 240, 120 volt control power
- Hydraulic & pneumatic systems
- Chiller and compressed air systems
- Must be able to wear all personal protective equipment including full epoxy/resin bath suit as required for execution of maintenance tasks
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time; up to 12 hours
- Must be able to work overtime as required
- Must be able to lift 25+ pounds overhead, and participate in team lifts for heavier equipment as necessary
- Must be able to lift, turn, bend, reach, pull and walk

$31.00-33.00/hr DOE plus OT
