Patient Escort - Day Shift

Full Time (40 hours)

Weekend Work Required

Position Summary:

Provides escort services to participants riding program transportation. Transports participants to designated locations within the hospital for appointments.

Education:

Work requires the skills to read and understand instructions, add and subtract numbers, and make comparisons between numbers and letters

Licensure/Certifications:

No registration or licensure required. Valid CPR and First Aid certification required

Experience:

Minimum of one year of experience working with the frail or elderly population

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Work requires incumbents to respond appropriately to instructions, questions, or requests for information
  • Work requires the ability to understand simple verbal instructions and to read and understand written instructions. Work required interaction with and special courtesy for the frail elderly.
