Job Description
The Family Therapy Center of Old Town is a small, well established private practice located in Old Town, Alexandria that has been serving the DMV area for 30 years. We are seeking a part-time LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PhD who specializes in working with children and adolescence or family therapy, and has a minimum of 3-5 years licensed experience.
The average caseload of our therapists ranges from 20-40 patients based on a therapist's availability, and the rates for therapists working under this practice range from $150-$225 per session based on experience and education level. There is opportunity for therapists to work more than part-time hours based on office availability and/or the number of virtual-only patients on their caseload.
The Family Therapy Center handles patient billing, and provides referrals and office space for sessions. We do not accept patient insurance. The Family Therapy Center is a smaller practice made up of a team of around 6 therapists. We allow therapists to manage their own schedule, work hours, and caseloads, and support a hybrid of in-person and virtual appointments based on patient needs. We also encourage mentorship and consultation amongst the therapists when needed, and do not support a hierarchy structure.
