Warehouse Coordinator


Job Details

As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will perform all necessary functions and support for shipping, raw material receipts, raw material preassembly reservations, and inventory management. This includes a detailed working knowledge of the Oracle applications for the WMS shipping, receiving, and preassembly areas. You will be the area subject matter expert to help assist and resolve issues to ensure successful production, supply chain continuity, and minimize material related downtime. Distribute and oversee workflow and communicate same to warehouse employees.

Key Responsibities:

  • Place and review raw material reservations for batches based on scheduled production.
  • Monitor and follow ups on corrections of receiving transactions to assure accuracy and proper maintenance of receiving records for reference or auditing purposes.
  • Prepare, prints, and reviews picking and shipping paperwork to assure accurate recording of the shipment order, inventory transactions, and trip data. Maintain the required shipping records for reference or auditing purposes.
  • Drive inventory cycle counts in assigned areas and provide feedback and communication on areas for improvement between counts. Drives inventory accuracy improvement.
  • Communicate potential material shortages to production planning and purchasing.
  • Organize workflows in areas to improve the flow of information and assure the full completion of activities assigned to wage personnel.
  • Resolve allocation, reservation, or picking issues.
  • Enter or provides assistance to others for entering corrective inventory transactions to assure accurate maintenance of inventory.
  • Manage hotroom and supermarket inventories and works with warehouse personnel to maintain stocking levels.
  • College degree or equivalent plant and/or warehouse experience
  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, Office
  • Experience with ERP system (preferably Oracle R12)
