Were looking for a Technical Content Writer to join our small, fast-growing, fantastic team. If you have a knack for translating complex technical concepts into engaging, accessible content, and a passion for technology and innovation, we want to hear from you.
Youll be doing impactful work, learning and growing, and working alongside founders and executives of top startups.
Important position notes:
- Blue Seedling does not have offices. This position is fully remote, but were looking for US East Coast-based candidates only (because of time zone constraints).
- This is a self-employment position. Read more about our employment philosophy here:
- Compensation for this position is an hourly rate of $40/hr. This is equivalent to an annual compensation of about $80K.

Work with the worlds fastest-growing startups. Youll be working closely with all Blue Seedling team members and partners - other B2B marketers, designers, web developers. Youll also be interacting with clients - startup CEOs, software developers, and others in the tech startup ecosystem, like VCs and investors.

Your responsibilities - or how youll be spending your day
Youll be a B2B content maven who will take the lead on a variety of high-impact content projects for our clients. Here are some examples of what youll work on:
- A blog post on the cybersecurity risks of open access to S3 buckets
- A white paper on how machine learning-powered root cause analysis can enhance traditional approaches to application, API, network, and infrastructure observability
- A LinkedIn post on changing Snowflake auto-suspend settings to reduce cost
- An abstract for a conference presentation on how correlation analysis can help detect quality issues in automotive telematics data
- A buyers guide for prospects evaluating a privileged access management (PAM) provider
- Web copy for a technical product page on data security posture management (DSPM)
Your qualifications - or things youre good at
- You speak the language of tech fluently. Whether its cybersecurity, GenAI, or DevOps, youre not just familiar with these areasyoure at home in them. You understand the nuances and can dive deep into the specifics, from machine learning to microservices.
- Youve got experience turning complex product features into compelling narratives. You understand product life cycles and know how to market at every stage. Collaborating with product teams is second nature to you, and you can easily switch between the big-picture strategy and the minute details.
- Youre a seasoned pro at technical writing, able to create clear, concise documentation that makes even the most complex topics accessible. API docs, user guides, and technical manuals? Youve got them covered, and youre always looking for ways to make them even better.
- Detail-obsessiveness and Getting-stuff-done-ness: You hate the thought of anything slipping through the cracks.
- Ambitious, curious, resourceful, and fast: You have a way of making things happen even if it seems impossible while making it all seem easy. Youre comfortable with moving fast, making decisions with imperfect data, and learning on your own.
