Chief Financial Officer / CFO Opportunity - North Carolina
Imperium Global has recently partnered with a leading market player within the Aggregate Mining, Construction Materials, and Heavy Civil Construction markets, who are seeking a Chief Financial Officer in North Carolina.
This organization operates and dominates across the Eastern region of the US. After recent record-breaking growth, production volumes, and safety performances, this organization is looking for a highly experienced CFO within the Aggregate Mining, Construction Materials, or Heavy Civil Construction markets. This individual must have strong financial, leadership, strategic, technological and analytical skills to lead this company's rapid expansion strategy. They are looking to triple annual revenue within the next 5-10 years.
Position:
As a key member of the Executive Management team, the CFO will report to the President and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company. The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities and information technology of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee all aspects of the Accounting, Finance, Information Technology functions of the organization.
- Providing timely and accurate analysis of financial results, budgets and financial trends.
- Work with the executive team to develop and direct the implementation of strategic and/or operational business plans, projects, programs and systems.
- Work with the executive team to establish and implement short and long range business goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures.
- Interact with the business units to provide support to business initiatives through financial and management information analysis, reports and recommendations.
- Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or CPA highly desirable.
- 10+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferably in mining and construction businesses.

- Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
