Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Transports students to and from medical appointments, as directed by the Administrative Supervisor per Washoe County request.
- Ensures that Shelter vehicles are scheduled for preventive maintenance.
- Ensures that Shelter vehicles are always kept clean and in proper working order at all times.
- Ensures that assigned cellular phones are in working order and secure at all times.
- Responsible for information transmission to the corporate office, as required.
- Must qualify as a Direct Care Staff Member (DCSM) through Washoe County Human Services Foster Care Licensing.
- Other duties as assigned.
QualificationsHigh School graduate or equivalent. Prefer previous experience working with disadvantaged youth. Must meet Shelter driving requirements and childcare provider qualifications.
Staff must gain their clearance as a Direct Care Staff Member (DCSM). This includes TB test, drug test (including Marijuana), background investigation, reference check, required training and required immunizations. All staff members must be willing and able to complete restraint certification.
