The Building Service Worker assists the professional staff in cleaning and disinfecting assigned areas in the hospital and satellite areas to maintain a safe, healthy, and aseptic environment for patients, visitors, and hospital personnel. The Building Service Worker is responsible for meeting and maintaining established medical, sterilization, and cleanliness protocols. Responsibilities: Accountable and responsible for cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms and bathrooms daily, properly disposes of trash, and replenishes supplies according to proper procedures under the direct supervision of the supervisor. Demonstrates competency in Washington Health System Core Building Service Worker Skills and Responsibilities. Accurately reports information to members of the department team and other members of Washington Health System.
