DSJ Global is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Operations to oversee operations within the heavy manufacturing sector. This role will be located in Greater Tampa Bay Area with travel throughout the US.
Director of Operations Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs to ensure all engineering activities meet internal and external requirements.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity while reducing costs
- Collaborate with engineering and management teams to continuously update and refine processes and compliance strategies.
Director of Plant Operations Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Engineering
- At least 7 years' experience working within a heavy manufacturing industry
- Demonstrated success in leading large teams and ensuring process compliance in a technical or engineering environment.
- Proven track record managing large teams across multiple shifts efficiently
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal along with strong leadership qualities
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% of the time, primarily within the United States
