Job Description

As a Warehouse Operator, you will be empowered to ensure the efficient operation of our warehouse. You will maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the warehouse environment. This role involves cleaning and sanitizing various bulk shipping containers.

Qualifications:

Familiarity with the cleaning and sanitation role within a warehouse setting. Comfortability with cleaning equipment and machinery.

Ability to working independently and as a part of a team.

Proven experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.

Ability to position containers weighing up to 60lbs at least 63% of work shift.

Responsibilities:

  • The warehouse operator is responsible for inspecting & repairing containers returned to the facility for future export
  • Containers must be inspected and cleaned, ensuring all debris and shipping labels are removed according to the standard operating procedure
  • The job may involve using a power washer to clean debris and a heated tool to repair containers
  • The job requires attention to detail and the observance of all safety rules and regulations
  • The job requires the ability to lift or flip containers of various sizes (60-120 lbs) on a regular basis
  • Able to work a regular, full-time schedule and overtime based on business needs
  • Able to stand during entire shift (8-10 hours)
  • Please note other duties can be assigned based on the needs of the business
