Morgan Services is immediately seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to join our Indianapolis team.

The Production Supervisor will successfully lead and operate their department to meet Sales, Service and Plant goals with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement. The Production Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the department and ensuring standards & procedures are constantly applied and met.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor member s safety to ensure members are provided a hazard-free work environment.
Daily monitoring & ensuring that members efficiencies are recorded after conducting quality checks
Works with members on identifying methods of improving individual results
Weekly completion of reports (including Member Efficiency, Quality, Loads Up, MPS Projects & Status, & Payroll)
Coordinate w/ Service & Sales Supervisors/Managers to ensure load completion, new customer orders are complete, & change order completion
Prepare shortage reports & communicate to the plant, service, & General Manager, & plan for correction/improvement where possible
Coordinate with the Plant Manager & Maintenance Director to ensure all preventative maintenance tasks are addressed
Works with other Managers on identifying areas and means for process improvements and cost cutting
Leads overall department member training efforts (acknowledges member/s who perform to Company performance/quality standards)
Works with members who are not performing at standards to reach standards through retraining and motivation
Maintain a department vacation schedule, ensuring department is properly staffed during vacation by utilizing members from other departments, over time and/or outside temporary help
Handles departmental member disciplinary action & informs Plant Manager of all disciplinary action.
Completes member get together on a bi-annual basis with all members
