Transportation Supervisor (Remote) in Keene , New Hampshire **Position Overview**
The Supervisor, Transportation will be responsible for managing the day to day activities of a transportation team and development of its members. This role will work with internal partners in Warehousing and Procurement and external transportation partners to ensure the timely delivery of goods. This role will support growth initiatives within the department.

* Coordinate daily operations with fleet operations and vendors
* Respond to and resolve Procurement and Vendor related issues.
* Work with fleet operations and vendors to maximize the backhaul profitability.
* Manage the daily operations with third party carriers include load tendering, forecasting, and lane assignment.
* Support the Trans. Manager in evaluating potential backhaul opportunities.
* Manage, train, and develop Transportation coordinators.
* Travel Required: No

* Specialized Knowledge : Knowledge of Transportation industry, Wholesale Grocery Operations, Procurement knowledge.
* Special Skills : Oral and Written Communication Skills, Analytical Skills, MS Excel Skills, Customer Service Skills.
**Years Of Experience**
* 2-5 : related experience in Transportation, Warehouse Operations, and Supply Chain.
**Qualifications**
Bachelor's Degree - Business Administration/Management
