Mill-Max Mfg. Corp., in Oyster Bay, NY, is one of the world's leading manufacturers of electronic interconnect components. We currently have several full-time Production Machinist opportunities to join our dynamic group in various departments on the second and third shift.
Production Machinists use machinery to create and assemble machined pin connectors used in the electronics industry. Production Machinists are generally assigned to one or more machines and expected to meet a production quota. They must always monitor their machines to ensure that they are working properly; when they are not, troubleshooting may be necessary. Reading blueprints and shop drawings is an essential part of the position and basic arithmetic skills are necessary in order to properly measure items needed in production. Much of the work is done independently so it is important to be self-driven. Attention to detail is also important, as the goods produced must be assessed for quality. If goods are not coming out as they should, the machinist should evaluate the situation to determine what is wrong.

- Troubleshoot and make small adjustments on production machines
- Count and record daily production
Job Requirements- High School Diploma
- English fluency
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Job Details- Full-Time, Hourly employee
- Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour base plus differential as noted
- Second shift: 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM, Monday - Friday.
- 10% wage differential for second shift employees.
- Third shift: 12:30 AM - 7:30 AM Tuesday - Saturday.
- 30% wage differential for third shift employees.
- Second and Third Shift: must be able to train on the first shift for 12 weeks, then transfer to the appropriate shift.
