IT TECHNICIAN - SR. IT TECHNICIAN - Solar System Science & Exploration - Boulder, Colorado

Who We Are:

Computer and Software Sciences section in the Solar System Science & Exploration Division is seeking an IT technician to support IT services in the Division.

Objectives of this Role:

• Provide end-user support for a variety of computer operating systems such and Windows, MacOS and Linux.
• Set up new computing hardware for end users.
• Assist more senior IT staff with appropriate tasks, e.g. server installations

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

• Setting up new computers for end users, including laptops and desktop workstations.
• Handle ticketing system requests from end users for IT support.
• Work on IT issues with other IT support team members.

Requirements:

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with experience in Information Technology.
• 2-5 years: Experience with IT support.
• Experience with Windows and MacOS preferred, Linux experience a plus
