Technical Project/Program Manager (Data Center)
Location: Hybrid to Arlington, VA (3 days on-site)
Duration: 9 months CTH
Pay Rate: $69.09/hr
Background:
Responsible for the coordination and completion of project/program. Oversees all aspects of projects/program. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project/program. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project/program. May require a bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Managing small projects could be updating of tracking mechanisms
- Managing meetings cross meetings
- Data Center Techs
- Updating documents for end to end tooling updates for forecasting
- Metrics: Project Management tool - weekly updates
Top 3 Must Haves:
- Communication- verbal and written
- Schedule management
- Versed in data center and network development
Requirements:
Leadership: deliver results, ownership, biased
Software: Microsoft scheduling/project or Amazon Projects
Years of experience: at least 5 years
Bachelors degree: must be technical- technical (engineering, mathematics)
