Family Practice Physician Position at Valley Health Systems, Martinsburg, WV
Valley Health Systems in Martinsburg, WV, has an immediate opening for a Family Practice Physician to join our dedicated team. As a Family Practice Physician, you will provide comprehensive clinical care services to patients of all ages, encompassing both adults and children. This role includes diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, conducting health maintenance screenings, performing annual physicals and well-child visits, ordering necessary laboratory tests, and offering patient education on preventive health measures.
Responsibilities:
Provide clinical care services to patients across the lifespan, including adults and children.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses and injuries.
Perform health maintenance screenings, annual physicals, and well-child visits.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory work as necessary.
Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment options.
Coordinate referrals to specialists when appropriate and collaborate on patient care plans.
Requirements:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree, or foreign equivalent.
Completion of Residency in Family Medicine.
Full and unrestricted West Virginia Medical License at the time of employment.
