Job Details
Essential Job Functions/Duties:
- Purchases various types of grains from different sources.
- Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other date to determine reasonable prices.
- Keep accurate inventories of usages and needs.
- Maintain good communication with feed mills and farmers for grain delivery.
- Monitor changes that could affect supply and demand.
- Keep accurate records of grain contacts.
- Maintain positive customer relationships.
- Significant travel (mostly local) for current and potential farmer contacts.
- Ensure compliance with company rules, regulations, and policies.
- Able to execute various projects and tasks assigned by manager.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly proficient computer skills.
- Excellent phone communication skills and etiquette.
- Excellent customer service skills and attitude.
- Valid driver's license.
