Under direct supervision, the Ticket Agent is responsible for greeting and assisting passengers with the boarding process. Responsibilities \ Providing exceptional customer service to all Atlantic customers, suppliers, and employees. \ Represent Atlantic in a positive and professional manner regardless of customer requests, complaints, or demeanor. \ Comply with Atlantic policies and procedures. \ Interact with other Atlantic employees, suppliers, and customers in a courteous and professional manner. \ Communicate work progress and significant issues to the Ticket Agent Lead or Ticket Agent Supervisor. \ Understand and perform ID and boarding pass verifications. \ Ability to answer passenger questions accurately and courteously. \ Adhere to the principles of the \"Atlantic Attitude\" at all times. \ Greet passengers in a professional, friendly and courteous manner. \ After greeting passenger ask to see their boarding pass and photo ID. \ Be able to identify acceptable ID\'s. Verify the Photo ID is the proper ID and that it is current. \ Verify the passenger\'s appearance against the photo ID. \ Check boarding pass for current date. If not current, follow procedures. \ Understand and follow procedure for military personnel returning from active duty. \ Assist TSA agents when needed. \ Coordinate passenger processing with U.S. Customs agents. \ Coordinate daily operations and procedures with the Air Carrier local management. \ Light interior aircraft cleaning. \ Keep work area neat in appearance at all times. \ Adhere to uniform policy. Skills & Qualifications \ High School graduate or equivalent. \ 1 year work experience in customer service or security environment. \ Maintain confidentiality. \ Valid state driver\'s license and at least 18 years of age. \ Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. \ Flexible work schedule may include working overtime, nights, on weekends, holidays, and be on call. \ Neat and orderly appearance. \ Ability to deal with impatient or angry customers. \ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word and Excel. \ Ability to comprehend and perform basic math calculations with minimal errors.
