Business analyst/Data analyst (100% remote)

Job Details

Project : Implementation of a data lake for Finance Department.Current Phase : Transitioning from phase 2 to phase 3, which involves building infrastructure on AWS and Redshift, and consuming data via Azure and Power BI.

Responsibilities:

Affiliate Support:Guide affiliates in migrating to the new reporting platform.Lead and assist entities in understanding and applying formalized specifications for reporting.

Documentation and Specifications:Quickly grasp existing specifications and evolve them if necessary.Document processes and modifications made to specifications.

Testing and Validation:Conduct testing of data output produced by Power BI and AWS.Identify and resolve data and reporting issues.

Collaboration and Communication:Participate in daily meetings and sprint points (2-3 weeks) in agile mode.Work closely with functional and technical teams.Effectively communicate with teams on the East Coast of the United States and international affiliates.

User Support:Provide support to affiliate users for reporting-related questions and issues.Be a helpful and supportive resource to ensure deliverables are met.

Required Skills:Asset ManagementAWS (especially Redshift)Power BISQLPython Lambda (potentially)Excellent command of English (French proficiency is a plus)Ability to work in agile modeCommunication and documentation skillsAnalytical mindset and problem-solving abilities

Schedule and Location:Fully remote work, with a preference for the East Coast of the United States or Quebec.Possibility of occasional travel to Boston.Collaboration with a Data Analyst on the EMEA side who will be in Boston the last two weeks of August.
