SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Software Configuration Manager I.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Summary: SEACORP's Combat Systems Business Area is looking for a Software Configuration Manager with a minimum of 2 years relevant experienceand able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance This role will work closely with asupervisor on assigned tasking and involve collaboration and interaction withcustomers and colleagues, creative thinking and problem-solving abilities,strong organizational skills and strong verbal and written communicationskills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating a Configuration Control Board (CCB) and stakeholder approval.
  • Managing Software Engineering artifacts and the interdependencies between them.
  • Managing software development environments and coordinate software release management.
  • Supporting and managing build releases and build verifications.
  • Automating builds through scripting with the ability to evaluate and optimize existing build software.
  • Maintaining configuration control of software baselines.
  • Managing software change documentation.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, ComputerScience or similar.

Experience: 2+ years of experience.

RequiredSkills:
  • Experience using Jira, Git, and Confluence
  • Understanding of the Agile development process
  • Knowledge of software builds and releases
  • Experience with scripting support for Linux
As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship

Clearance: Secret

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
