Bilingual Purchasing Analyst


Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for purchasing materials and goods from overseas suppliers according to standard firm policies and procedures
  • Prepare and create Purchase orders making sure to verify specifications and details
  • Update and maintain pricing histories and review production scheduling to maintain efficiency
  • Work with vendors to negotiate volume, price and production specifications
  • Process vendor samples for production and trial needs
  • Facilitate all stages and process regarding project and product development
  • Collaborate and interact with multiple departments including production, quality control, engineering, planning and supply chain
  • Communicate daily with overseas suppliers in China and Taiwan and their operations
  • Utilize ERP system and database to enter, save and retrieve product details
  • Analyze market trends and formulate purchasing strategies

Requirements:

  • Strong Interpersonal, Analytical, Organizational and Communication skills
  • Minimum 3-5 years of Purchasing experience from an industrial manufacturing background
  • Ability to understand raw material applications
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, ERP and Inventory systems
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings (2D and 3D)
  • Familiarity with Import/Export Procedures from overseas suppliers
  • Bilingual: English & Mandarin Chinese verbal and written
  • Project Management skills preferred
