Provide support to shelter residents. Monitor the activities of the residents within the shelter environment. Complete daily Shift Log check-list during your shift. Review and record Communication Log each shift. Conduct security wanding upon resident admission, as well as random wand checks. Monitor the physical facility by making rounds every half hour and conducting periodic inspections to ensure rooms are clean, facility is secure and that clients are abiding by house rules. Make referrals to alternative emergency shelter providers when Program beds are unavailable. Maintain basic record keeping responsibilities. This includes performing electronic intakes in the database and completing accurate time sheets in a timely manner in ADP . Check your individual work email daily. Attend and participate in monthly Staff meetings/ Resident meetings. Attend relevant In-Service training/conferences, as requested.
