First Generation Restaurant seeks a Head or Executive Chef to manage the restaurant, bar and pool service at an established Texas Hill Country event venue with lodging via an Operations Service Agreement; not a W2 position. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chef to realize their dream of operating or expanding into a new restaurant at a growing retreat venue with over 100 events per year. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to showcase their culinary expertise, hire and lead a dedicated team, manage front and back of house and create memorable dining experiences for guests. Proven experience as a chef in contemporary or fine dining with a minimum of 10 years of culinary experience. Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Excellent culinary skills, with a passion for creativity, quality, and innovation. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Business acumen and strategic thinking abilities. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. The potential revenue for this restaurant is estimated to be in the 1.5M to 2.5M range.
