I & E TECHNICIAN

As an Instrumentation & Electrical Technician you will be responsible for general electrical maintenance in relation to installation, troubleshooting and repairing production equipment, mechanical and instrumentation systems for our plants. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with all plant maintenance to ensure the plant is run as efficient as possible
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation and electrical problems
  • Maintain and repair of instrumentation and its control system
  • Keep complete documentation regarding all electrical/instrumentation projects
  • Provide input for cost savings and process improvements
  • Assist in creating Preventive/Predictive maintenance programs
  • Keep work areas in an organized and safe condition
  • Follow all safety guidelines to sure compliance
  • Attend regular safety meetings
  • Report unsafe conditions to supervisor or safety personnel

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of I&E maintenance experience
  • Experience troubleshooting 24VDC and 120VAC (480 volt) control circuits
  • Experience with PLC's, PLC card types, VFD'S, 4-20ma controls and HART protocol
  • Knowledgeable of electrical codes and ability to read and understand blueprints and P&IDs
  • High school diploma / GED

Location: Levelland, TX

Salary: $30-$36/hr - commensurate with experience
