Machinist
The machinist on our cellular bus bar line will use both automated and manual equipment to produce parts using precise measurements. The machinist is able to identify quality parts. The position runs production lots, communicates with co-workers regarding productions runs, and maintains a safe, organized, and clean work environment. This position is second shift, Monday through Thursday from 2:30pm to 1:00am.
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Performs all assigned machine shop operations.
- Regularly performs bending, punching, milling, drilling,tapping, de-burring, cutting and sanding tasks.
- Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.
- Performs inspection of machined products, and documents results.
- Completes and maintains paperwork for parts.
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- Proficient in blueprint reading and taking precise measurements in metric and standard units.
- Minimum 3 years of machining experience or equivalent technical training.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience operating Boschert punch press, Amada press brake, and CNC machines.
- Graduation from a certified technical school.
- 5 plus years of machining experience.
