Electronics Assembler (2nd Shift)


Job Details

The Electronics Assembler is responsible for performing a variety of assembly and wiring operations at various levels of assemblies, working from engineering drawings, schematics and/or wiring diagrams. Examples of assemblies include electrical and microwave circuits, Electro-optical and mechanical systems. Essential Duties:Utilize Assembly Instructions, drawings, blueprints and/or schematics to perform bench builds of various wire assemblies. Utilize various type cables, harnesses, printed circuit cards (PTH & SMT) and chassis wiring. Use various types of potting and epoxy compounds, wiring on or near optics and other assigned work. Perform a variety of functions including clamping, checking clearances, crimping, wire dressing, soldering and mechanical assembly of components. Maintain appropriate production records. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner. Observe and follow all safety rules and regulations.
