The Sr. QA Engineer will take part in defining and driving the future worldwide market leading product suite consists of: Network Access Control, Endpoint Compliance, Mobile Control, and Intrusion Prevention. Applications range from Client / Server applications to Web apps for a Network Access Control solution, running on both Windows and Linux systems.
LOCATION: Plano, TX 75093
POSITION: Contract with Right to Hire
SCHEDULE: 8:30am - 5:00pm
PAY RANGE: $65hr

What will you do?
- Testing on-prem client solution software suite along with third party devices including: Network/Switch devices, Endpoint compliance and Software integrations
- Tech used: Ansible for automation testing, use test rail, jira and HP products
- Design, develop and maintain manual and automated test suites
- nalyze and report defects on software to improve conformance, stability, and supportability
- Execute end-to-end-testing (manual/automated), integration testing, sanity testing and creating documents, use-cases, design and other technical documents.
- Test defect fixes and new functionality as required
- Work closely with product, development, and other quality assurance engineers on testing processes and execution.
- Translate system requirements and specs to test cases
Professional Skills:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in software quality assurance in network and endpoint security
- Tech used: Ansible for automation testing, use test rail, jira and HP products
- Experience testing network security product like firewall, intrusion prevention systems, and SIEM solution, are highly desirable
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, and or HPE network devices is recommended.
- Hands-on experience with Linux, Python, SQL and database with working knowledge of Jav plus
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot software and network issues logically and analytically.

- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Skilled in troubleshooting and debugging techniques
- Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, and KVM is recommended.
- Experience with automation platforms and script development recommended Networking: Good understanding of TCP/IP Knowledge in protocols (DNS, SMTP, SNMP, DHCP, 802.1 x)
- Familiar with network equipment configuration (Switch, Router)
- Windows-based networks with domain management a plus
- Low-level network monitoring and sniffing (sniffers experience)
