Description

SAIC is seeking a General Clerk to provide support at the SAIC Middletown, RI Office for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center for multiple programs.

Job Duties:

  • Provides support in arranging materials, products and develop procurement documentation including; completion, scanning, archiving, and management of procurement records and transportation/transfer requests.
  • Interfaces with vendors to obtain quotes and update Excel spreadsheets with relevant information, kitting and tracking inventory,
  • Interfaces with customers to develop procurement requirements and to provide status updates, attend meetings, develop meeting minutes and track action items.
  • Develops MS Excel procurement tracking documentation; supports the shipping & receiving area if needed; and develops project management support documents including program plans, office communications and memoranda, and organize documents.
Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to acquire SECRET clearance
  • MS Office proficiency including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Quick learner and proactive
  • Ability to manage logistical issues
Desired:
  • DoD experience.
  • Procurement experience
  • Ability to work with databases.
