Our Client has an immediate opening for a bright, hard-working individual to join our Underwriting team. The ideal candidate will have had experience and a genuine interest in evolving credit analysis. The candidate will have the opportunity to be an integral part of a growing team in a fast-paced, work environment.


Core Responsibilities

Perform due diligence on eligible deals, (e.g., valuation, credit review, financial document review, merchant research, risk assessment, review site inspections, etc.)

Conduct merchant interviews

Collaborate with Processing department to finalize contracts and interface with external partners

Collaborate with Business Development department to negotiate terms with key external business partnerships

Present pricing, stipulations, and terms within Our Client risk parameters for eligible deals; communicate funding offers to ISOs and/or merchants

Serve as a resource to junior underwriters regarding bank review, due diligence, stipulations, requirements, and pricing

Perform renewal outreach for eligible deals

2+ years of underwriting experience in alternative financing (MCA, Term Loans)

Degree from a four-year university, preferably in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related degree.

Excellent valuation, modeling, and Excel skills
