Oncology Medical Science Liaison (MSL) - NC, VA, KY, TN


Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Oncology Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our client's team.


The MSL will cover the North Carolina, Virginia, Kentucky, and Tennessee regions. This role is critical in building and maintaining strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs) to support our client's oncology portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of oncology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a field-based role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • KOL Engagement: Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with KOLs and HCPs in the oncology field to gather insights and provide scientific information.
  • Scientific Exchange: Facilitate the exchange of scientific information between the company and the medical community, ensuring the safe and effective use of our products.
  • Clinical Support: Provide support for clinical trials and research initiatives, including site selection, recruitment, and data dissemination.
  • Educational Activities: Develop and deliver scientific presentations, educational programs, and training sessions for HCPs, sales teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Medical Insights: Collect and report medical and scientific insights from the field to inform strategic decision-making and support the development of marketing strategies.
  • Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with regulatory and company policies, maintaining high ethical standards in all interactions.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Advanced degree in life sciences (PharmD, PhD, MD, DNP or equivalent) with a strong background in oncology.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as an Oncology MSL or in a similar field-based scientific role within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM systems.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory (NC, VA, KY, TN) to meet with KOLs and attend conferences and meetings.
