xx nOverview of Position:nOperator I- is responsible for the operation of any assigned area of the Mix Plant operation.n Schedule: 3:30 pm - 2:00 am M-THnPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:n Coordinate with previous shift to ensure efficient operationn Ensure that all areas of responsibility are in proper running ordern Perform routine maintenance on Krispy Kreme equipmentn Maintain a neat and orderly work arean Maintain sanitation of all areas of responsibilityn Ensure quality control standards are adhered to in accordance with Krispy Kreme policies.n Ensure that all ingredients are added properly in all areas and processes run according to Krispy Kreme standardsn Maintain bins to ensure continuous batch processingn Maintain batching records for production reportingn Obtain samples from bulk truck and rail cars for lab analysisn Connecting hoses to correct bins or tank for unloadingn Assist with rail car / bulk truck unloading as necessaryn Set up computerized bagging equipment and calibrate scalesn Prepare samples of each batch produced and label accordinglyn Assure that correct bar codes and labels are being used on finished productn Prepare bags as manually neededn Ensure palletizer is in proper working ordern Run sugar grinding and bagging equipmentn Incorporate safety policies and procedures into the daily routinen Adhere to specific Krispy Kreme and general safety requirements in the workplacen Other duties as assignedn nEssential skills and Experiencen High School Diploma or equivalent is required, higher education is strongly preferredn Forklift operation experience and certificationn Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and ability to work as part of a teamn Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesn Able to lift up to 50 lbsn Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background checkn nNonessential skills and Experience:n Experience handling food is preferredn nPhysical Demands and work environment:nThe physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
