**General Job Duties**:

* Adhere to all safety and health objectives, policies and procedures of IAC to provide for a safe and healthful workplace.

* To meet and maintain all customer quality standards as well as the standards of IAC.

* Meet or exceed daily production goals and departmental objectives as directed.

* Perform all assigned tasks per the SWI (standard work instructions), manufacturing alerts, safety alerts and quality alerts.

* To exhibit teamwork skills and actively participate in team activities in a positive working environment as well as work alone.

* Demonstrate problem solving skills in a work environment that is striving for continuous improvement.

* Follow Company policies and display conduct expected of IAC employees as described in the Shop Rules and Work Safety Rules.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

* Clean all assigned work areas after completion of the required work, return all tools to proper storage area at the end of the shift and report any malfunctioning equipment.

**Specific Job Duties**:

* Ability to operate fork truck.

* Use computers, scanners etc. as necessary.

* Notify / communicate issues immediately to Supervisor.

* Provide components and packaging for work cells as required.

* Remove finished goods / WIP from work cells and move to storage.

* Must be able to read work orders and load parts per customer order.

* Remove labels from incoming bins and support production floor with the proper containers. (Per SWI).

* Monitor stock for inventory level accuracy.

* Maintain at all times, clean and organized warehouse areas.

* Careful handling of product.

* Identify areas to optimize distribution and warehouse programs.

* Support the plant 5S activity.

****Skills/Knowledge:**** Experience driving a fork truck. On the job training.

**Physical Requirements**: This position requires a person to have the ability to perform work while regularly sitting on a powered industrial truck and adjust body position to bend, stoop, turn, pivot, and stand or walk for a minimum of eight (8) hours a day, the ability to lift up to 15 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis, and the ability to perform work that is below the knees and above the shoulders on an occasional basis. This position also requires a person to be capable of performing sustained motion for a minimum of eight (8) hours a day and capable of repetitive motion for up to four (4) hours. Must possess dexterity hand/eye coordination to perform the functions of the job, have a good sense of balance, good eye-hand-foot coordination, ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights. Must also have the ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season.

**Hours of Work:** Ability to work any shift, weekends and all scheduled overtime.

**Starting Wage:** $16.05
