LOCATION: Houston Corporate Office (4 days in office per week)

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Analyst to join our team. The Procurement Analyst will be responsible for analyzing procurement data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and supporting strategic sourcing initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and optimize procurement operations.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze procurement data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Develop and maintain procurement reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Conduct spend analysis and supplier performance evaluations to support strategic sourcing decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and analyze purchasing requirements, specifications, and historical data.
  • Assist in the preparation of Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotations (RFQs), and other procurement documents.
  • Evaluate supplier proposals and contracts to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in supplier negotiations and contract management activities, including pricing negotiations and contract renewals.
  • Lead sourcing initiatives for specific categories or projects, including supplier identification, qualification, and selection.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to optimize supplier relationships, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
  • Provide support to cross-functional teams on procurement-related projects and initiatives.
  • Monitor and track procurement metrics, such as cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement cycle times.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the procurement function.


CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related analytical roles.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with procurement software tools such as Coupa and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Occasional travel to Canada, property locations, supplier sites or industry events may be required.
