Job Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to provide CADD/GIS technical services to support the CEU Providence's CADD Team, in line with the overall operational objectives of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Attain and digitize maps.
- Remotely sense spatial data, produce data layers and physical maps, integrate GIS and data solutions.
- Create and maintain real property/facility CAD site plans and/or GIS maps, combining them with geographically referenced data to relate different types of data.
Education and Experience:- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in GIS, Surveying, Engineering, Geography, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience, including 5 years of CADD/GIS experience within a facilities management office environment.
- Knowledge and experience using Electronic Data Management Systems (e.g., Synergis Adept) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) software (e.g., Graphisoft's ArchiCAD or similar) is desired but not required.
- Must demonstrate expertise with Microsoft Office, Autodesk's AutoCAD, and ESRI ArcGIS Desktop for visualizing, managing, and analyzing geospatial data.
