Hexcel is currently seeking a Finishing Operator for our Pottsville, PA, USA location.
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:
- Responsible for cleaning out core debris prior to shipping.
- Verifies product is within tolerances using measuring devices including, but not limited to protractors, scales, calipers, micrometers and other inspection tools.
- Will repair product defects such as, but not limited to open nodes, split cells walls, bond lines and other surface repairs.
- Will perforate, trim and or sand to meet customer specifications.
- Prepares parts for shipping including kitting, pre packing when required, and properly stores parts in a safe manner.
Qualifications:- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent, required.
- Minimum of six months experience required, preferably in manufacturing.
- Experience using small hand and power tools, a plus.
- Basic computer skills - WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, required.
- Must be detail oriented and possess good organizational skills.
- Experience working with handheld scanners, interacting with MRP or inventory control systems, preferred.
