As an operations professional the Executive Director (ED) will be a part of a team that strives to care for and support their residents and their families the same way they would care for their own loved ones.

Job Description: Under the supervision of the Vice President of Operations, the ED will be responsible for the management of the community s staffing, budget, and occupancy.

Responsibilities include the day to day operations of all functionalities of the community implementing effective and efficient initiatives that demonstrate compliance with current Federal, State and Local regulations ensuring the highest degree of quality care.

Other tasks (not an all inclusive list) include:

Develops methods for delivering exceptional resident total regimen care and quality of cognitive management in accordance with established operational standards.

Conducts and administers fiscal operations, including accounting, planning budgets, authorizing expenditures, establishing rates for services and coordinating financial reporting.

Supervises, schedules, evaluates, hires, trains, and disciplines all community staff.

Participate in sales and marketing activities while developing and implementing annual business plans that achieve the financial goals and high occupancy through marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent, 4 years industry related experience& 2 years in a leadership role; Associates degree , 2 years of industry related experience & 1 year in a leadership role; Bachelor s degree,1 year of industry related experience or state specific training.

licensed by the state of Indiana to be a long term care administrator.

Experience: Knowledge and experience with residents with Alzheimer s disease and/or related dementia highly desirable. Assisted living facility industry knowledge and skills.

Other: Dedication to serve seniors with passion and excellent customer service. Must be 21 years of age or older. Flexibility to perform various duties in service to the residents, the ability to work a flexible schedule including occasional local travel, evenings, weekends, and on call hours. Ability to read, write, speak and interpret English. Must have a valid driver license, good driving record, and current auto insurance. Must meet all health requirements, including TB testing and pass company and state required background checks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $87,000.00 - $97,000.00 per year
